Students at The British School, Warsaw are celebrating once again following the release of their IB results. First there was a memorable post examination ceremony in May at which students were presented their leaving certificates by Mr Ric Todd, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to The Republic of Poland. Now the students have received the results they have been anticipating for weeks, and once again, many of The British School students have been high achievers when compared with the IB world average performance.
This year’s top students scored 42 and 41 points out of a possible 45: both are an equivalent to 5 and a half A Grades at UK A-level. Both these students will be continuing their studies in the UK studying Geography and Chemical engineering respectively.
Many of our other IB students will continue their studies, next year, at some of the world’s most renowned educational institutions including King’s College and Central St. Martin’s College London, New York University, USA and The University of British Columbia, Canada. Others have decided to stay in Poland where they have gained closely contested places at The University of Warsaw.
