Following upon the success of the IB Diploma Programme results, students at The British School, Warsaw achieved high grades in their I/GCSEs. There will be lots to cheer about again this year as the percentage of students who received A* to C grades has risen to 90.7%, the percentage of these grades obtained at A was 20.7%. There was also notable success in the subjects Maths, Art & Design, History, Geography and French which had a pass rate from 97% to 100% at A* - C. Closer analysis of these grades show that there are more students achieving the highest grades available, for example the number of Geography grades obtained at A* to A was 47% and grade B was 32%.
The commitment and hard work from both the teachers and students to obtain these results brings the 2009 academic year to an end on a real high and will bring with it the incentive to achieve even better results as we approach the new academic year.
