Jeanne Kotze: Head of Dabrowskiego

Miss Kotze is from South Africa. She studied at the University of Johannesburg and Pretoria for four years. She furthered her studies at the University of London for her British teaching qualification. Ms Kotze taught in South Africa for four years and London for four and a half years . Ms Kotze has been teaching here at The British School for eight years.

Siobhain Keenan-Maciejewska: Nursery

|

Siobhain Keenan trained and qualified as a speech and language therapist (SLT) after a four-year degree programme at the University of Dublin, Trinity College. She then undertook a postgraduate certificate in advanced studies in childcare and became interested in the area of natural second language acquisition in pre-schoolers. Since settling in Poland in 2002, Siobhain has worked in a private language school as an English teacher to very young learners, as well as running a small English-speaking pre-school and is now in her sixth year as a Nursery teacher at The British School. Siobhain speaks Polish, and lives in Warsaw with her husband Bartosz, and their son, Oscar.

Lindsay Myers: Year 1
|

|

Lindsay Myers is from Canada and recently graduated from Lakehead University located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She received a bachelor's degree in education, specialising in teaching primary grades. She worked for one year in Taiwan as a primary school teacher. Currently she is in her third year as a Year 1 teacher at Dabrowskiego, and has taught Year 2 previous to that. In her spare time, Lindsay likes to travel and enjoys learning about the different cultures of the world.

Karen Sanchez-Moll: Year 1
|

|

Karen Sanchez-Moll has been living in Warsaw for five years now. Previously she was a primary school teacher in Mexico, her home country. She enjoys reading history books, travelling to new places and strolling around Warsaw's Stare Miasto.

Katarzyna Chocian: Music
|
|
|

Katarzyna Chocian graduated with the Musician Professionalist Diploma from the I.J Paderewski Music College in Poland and continued her violin and music studies at The Royal Academy of Music in London. She obtained a Diploma of Fellowship at The London College of Music and a Licentiate Diploma in Music Education at The Trinity College London. This year in September it has been 11 years of Ms Chocian's work commitment as the Primary Music Teacher at The British School Warsaw, teaching children of the KS1 and The Foundation Stage, mainly at The Early Years Center, organising school concerts, children's musicals and other annual music events.
